I Notice the Person First,
Then the Colors They Wear
There is something many of my clients notice during the color analysis process:
Certain colors they loved wearing in childhood or adolescence—then slowly drifted away from without realizing—are part of their own palette…
What they were doing in the past was, in another language and from an intuitive place, an approach to what we now call “seasonal analysis.”
And at the end of an analysis, I often hear the same sentence:
“It feels as though I am embracing
my childhood self again.”
The mass-production habits of the modern world can gradually make this intuition we all carry invisible.
The consumer culture around us slowly dulls our ability to listen to our own way of being.
My own journey is precisely about awakening this lost intuition again.

Every person, each morning they wake and step into life, unknowingly creates a new appearance, a new state of being, a new story.
Sometimes consciously; sometimes carried along by the rhythm woven by society’s invisible hands…
And… colors,
Colors are the most candid, yet least noticed, characters in this story…
Each person arrives in the world whispering their own color.
My work is to hear that whisper and draw the colors out from there.
And with those colors, to open the door to a new story that can be told for a lifetime.

I’m Emine İlhan
I studied Textile Engineering
at Istanbul Technical University.
After 15 years in the fashion industry, I moved into style consulting—a field in which I could build a more direct connection with people.
While carrying out color analysis for my clients, I realized how strongly I connected with this work and gradually shifted my full focus to personal color.
During the same period, I studied Style Consulting and Image Management at Istanbul Fashion Academy, and Personal Color Consulting at Colourfit, placing my experience on a more systematic foundation.
Today, I focus on offering online color analysis—a service that is still not widely available in Türkiye.
Color analysis no longer requires being in the same city; with the right method and close attention, it can be carried out online
with confidence.
